Mists of Pandaria Cannot conect to the game

Hi, I download. The game and try to start but I can't I just get in "success" and won't take me to character selection page. It onli happen in this serer bcuz I try on firestorm with the same data and it work, I tried with s VPN and still getting the same error

Did you download your client from firestorm or from stormforge?  If you downloaded from firestorm, I would try downloading the full or minimal client from https://stormforge.gg. You could also do the torrent download, if you prefer.

I have had that happen before, but it was a temporary issue on one computer and not the other.

I download the minimal client from stormforge, but I use the data from firestorm, but I actually used the onli minimal client without the firestorm data and still showing me the "success" but didn't get in to the game 😞, thanks for responding

I know I experienced the same thing before on my laptop, but I wasn't having the issue on my desktop and I closed the client on the laptop and copied from the desktop and then it worked again.  It has been awhile so I don't remember if I tried closing and re-opening the client on the laptop before I copied the client over, but I feel fairly certain that I did.  I assume you probably tried restarting the game and/or the PC already as well.

My buddy recently spent about a week having issues logging in, but I don't know the specifics on his issue.  I just know he tried repeatedly for days and then one day he was finally back and told me he had been trying to get on and couldn't, but it finally resolved itself.

Yes I already reset the client and the PC so many times, I didn't work, I hope somebody help me with this problem I really want to play

i would always recommend people to download full client to avoid any random issues , from stormfroge.gg for sure

Also you mind sending config file ? its in WTF Folder

even reinstalling doesn't work for ya?

Could you post your connection.log file from the game please right after this happens? Reproduce "stuck on success", close client, and post the contents of the file here.

Do not use other server's clients because they modify the clients to connect to their login servers

I think I getting close to the problem, look guys, I connect my PC to my phone internet by USB, and it logue into the server and pass the "success" and show me the realms and PJ. But when I use my phone to give internet of my router y don't connect I think it's problem of connection but of the server because onli connect when my phone has 4g and not 3g, and I use my normal network and it let me to connect to other serer but stormforge not some ideas?

So let me see if I understand the situation, your only connection to the internet is your cell phone and when you connect your phone directly to your computer via a USB cable, it works, but if you connect your cell phone to a router (wireless bridge mode?) and connect your computer to that router, it does not work.

Assuming that I understood your situation correctly, I'd say your issue likely is in the configuration of that router, like maybe a firewall not allowing the solicited traffic properly or completely blocking ports.  Since it is a cellular connection, chances are very high that it is already NAT'd at the service provider (I would be shocked if any cell company would assign public addresses to cellular devices) and then through the phone and then the router, perhaps one of those does not handle NAT properly and you are experiencing some packet loss.

But the problem connecting to wow only happen in stormforge, I can connect perfectly in firestorm ( using storm forge client but changing the realm and portal)  but stormforge it's the problem, can it be a problem of the specific port of stormforge?

I solved the problem by downloading Tauris minimal cliente and changing the realm list, but now when I start a PJ it disconnect me from the server, how fix that?

What is a PJ?

It's the french abbreviation for your own character. This sounds like a .mfil issue btw, please upload your Wow.mfil here from your game folder.

I have the same problem, I've tried everything, I installed and uninstalled, I did everything and nothing, it doesn't connect at all, it marks success and returns to the list of kingdoms
