Here we have game shop with mounts, boosts, transmog items and etc and so this is one of reasons, why Netherwing wonť get reset. Every new player wants best feeling from start like pre-raid phase and then Phase 1 and then next phases until SWP and end of server, because when u are full geared u donť want raiding. U will only slack with best gear in SC and this is how it ends. I understand, they want two servers. First for new players (new starts, new economy, new items and etc.) and second for players who wants last phase TBC (SWP) and concurrently get best items as soon as possible. I would love to come back and make a new character to play TBC, because this is a great TBC server really, but I do need to know how long this will be alive for real... It can take weeks/months before you're ready with a new level 70 doing reps and all and I don't want to put all those hours in a server that will be refreshed in a couple of months. I think at this points It would be really good to know how long the new server will take to be online... just my opinion... and that will also get me back to play here, and I would love to. P.S.: I do know that they will not clear all the chars and leave the server alive, but this is an MMO having my char doing reps in a dead server It's completely useless, just like not having my chars anymore. You can go in and look at your character in a dead server... we got It, but playing is something different... Seems that no one wanna talk about this and that we can't get any news about this server going to die and how useless can be to start playing here now. Reading around the web a lot of people asking same questions, also on reddit, because this server is clearly at the end of his life now and make a new char is pretty useless. Should i wait for that? It depeds on a lot of things... you can surely level to 70 and start farm in a week if you got time, and if you're really into It, find someone in a month to raid, maybe. The real problems are reputations, I don't know how much it's worth to farm over ad over to play for 2 months or 3... also I don't know if everyone will leave instantly with a fresh server or this one will survive for some other time for all the new level 70 players, actually can be possibile.
