DFOXpro Posted September 29, 2023 Share #195 Posted September 29, 2023 This allow the raid to be more flexible. With og tbc raids there is like zero flexibility, always needing more shamans, basically no spaces for mages and rouges. Thats because of buffs like auras or totems only available to parties no raids. With this the raids & guilds will suffer less of missing or disconnected shamis, allow more spaces for Rouges, DPS Warriors, Mages and so on... You can initially test with just the totem buffs and see the community feedback

nateee Posted September 30, 2023 Share #230 Posted September 30, 2023 This is a terrible idea. At the very least you'd have to make this kind of change at the start of a server not halfway though it. Many people play classes specifically for how they interact in tbc and changing that midstream is unthinkable. Also you may not like what it changes everything to be. No longer would you bring ele, enh, resto shams but instead bring 1 of them and the rest as other classes. An ele sham without lust is just a bad warlock. A resto sham without lust is just a mediocre coh priest. An enh with lust is still good but could be replaced with other classes as well (if totems also were raid wide). I personally don't like making those buffs raid wide but i could see it being interesting to try on a NEW server. Certainly not on the current one where people have sunk countless hours into these classes you purport to replace.
Administrators Solution Wolfenstein Posted September 30, 2023 Administrators Solution Share #232 Posted September 30, 2023 We're not interested in changing such an integral part of the expansion.
