STEP 1: Find your desired addon on Curseforge link - Click here

and look right side under "GAME VERSIONS" and click "VIEW ALL"

 

STEP 2:  Click on "ALL GAME VERSIONS" and scroll down to 5.4.8

 

STEP 3: Download the newest version from that version "5.4.8"

unzip the file, and sometimes it can have multiple folders inside the zip file (for example: .zip/folder/folder/folder/add-ons files), and copy the folder into your "Stormforge wow folder/Interface/add-ons/"

"ONLY COPY THE FOLDER THAT CONTAINS THE ADD-ON FILES"

in this case "Details have 12 folders containing add-on files" copy them all into your add-ons folder

STEP 4: Open up your wow client, and start playing with your new addon

I have curse forge program is it possible to install the addons from it ?

if so how ?'

 

 

I found out curse forge did find the directory of the game by itself.   

And in Curseforge you can choose addon version by the filter and just press install.
