Realm: Netherwing New to Stoneforge, experienced TBC player. Do guilds here have a min/max mentality. Could I get a raid spot as Boomkin?

Hi all

I have been planning to join the new Netherwing realm but I dont know how the player base works here. In other pservers I'd never had any problems finding a raid spot as Boomkin, provided I am an experienced Druid willing to tank or heal when needed (was my main during TBC back in the day and in several pservers)

Would you say that there is a min/max mentality in the other TBC realm and that it will be difficult to find a raid spot as Boomkin? Should I just roll lock/shaman?

Even in a min max setting most raid comps want at least 1 boomkin. 

I would say play with what sounds fun, there will be plenty of chill guilds that will take a druid so don't worry about that. I would suggest a healing off spec though just in case.

Sincerely... people are trying to META normal dungeons here, and that's a bit embarassing. They spent 20 minutes to find specific classes to save 5 minutes in total.

Meta is a thing, a bad thing, chased also in an easy game like TBC. That's what ruined WoW mostly.

If you want to heal go shaman resto, if you want to dps go lock... if you want to tank, just pray.
