Burning Crusade Remove Player Skeleton Limit

Recommended Posts

I saw the announcement for the new TBC server, I'd like to play there is just one issue. I really dislike how the skeletons work. When you die and resurrect a skeleton spawns. When you die again and resurrect a new skeleton spawns but your previous one disappears. Is it possible for you guys to remove this? As in make it so your skeletons are not limited? 1.12 servers like Turtle WoW operate this way and it's great. Seeing bones pile up in long BG's or big open world PvP battles always looks amazing and it's something you'll never see on this server.

My only question would be what kind of effect all those extra sprites would have on the server and what kind of effect would it have on players playing on older hardware.  Unlimited skeletons that don't expire eventually has to negatively impact something, right?  I really don't see the appeal, but to each his own.  Personally, I don't need a bunch of extra ground clutter to tell me what the score board already does..."lots of people have died here today."  I tend to play from my laptop and I tend to turn off superfluous ground clutter and stuff to improve performance.

MB1 Horde: <I C U N V N Me>
CowMonster, VelcroGloves, ZugZugThug, Lesdyxia, LaxKills, ICritMyKilt, ICritMyCritr, ICritMyPet, ZeroSkills, IsoloedLK, TotemMonkey, Munkfu

MB1 Alliance:
ICritUrMom

Netherwing Alliance:
FuzeeWuzee, VelcroGloves, SumBeech, Anullfisher, ICritMyKilt, ZeroSkills, Diabolique, PyooPyoo, Lesdyxic

Bug Report: Netherwing or Mistblade

Did I just get ninja'd?...probably not...

Skeletons do not affect server performance. See here Nost devs aka the most popular vanilla private server ever making statements about this https://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=13279&p=84438&hilit=bones#p85163
