Mists of Pandaria Apprentice Riding Skill not working

Hello there.

I'm new to this server, started just yesterday, and already caught a weird bug: I do have the Apprentice Riding Skill, but the game doesn't allow me to use any of my mounts. Every time I try to use it, the game says "Requires apprentice riding skill".

Any suggestions?

 

Edit: Somehow, the skill just started working since I've entered Silvermoon. Don't know why, but just started working.
